Charles Johnstone

- I first heard of Charles Johnstone's work through The Camera Club of New York's benefit auction held on the 10th of this month. Johnstone’s pristine imagery, devoid of people, conveys a sense of isolation that belies these sunny and vibrant scenes in Havana Cuba. Johnstone’s photographs capture the essence of Havana’s colorful yet deteriorating landscape. In fact, many of the buildings Johnstone photographed just a year or two ago no longer exist. See more of his work here.
